Boxing Workshops
The Fitnance Boxing for Fitness Courses are backed by international level competitors, as well as Fitnance's world leading sports science. These courses is fully accredited with FITNESS AUSTRALIA and offers personal trainers and group fitness instructors 5 CEC points for each of the one day workshops.
Beginners:
Get an edge on other trainers! Learn how to correctly teach your clients boxing and add variety into your training sessions. Fitnance offers you a high quality boxing course by providing internationally competitive, qualified instructors to teach you the basics of boxing in a fun and supportive environment.
Topics covered during the 1 day course:
- Structuring a fitness boxing session/program to sell to your clients
- Basic punching & pad holding techniques
- Fitness boxing stance, guard, footwork & defensive techniques
- Common injuries of fitness boxing
- Boxing combinations
- Methods to target cardiovascular and resistance adaptations
Intermediate:
Build on your knowledge covered in the beginner's boxing course. Learn great new training ideas that will be both challenging and exciting to use in your training sessions with your clients. Fitnance's internationally competitive, qualified instructors will take you through progressions and introduce you to a variety of training equipment, techniques and strategies.
Topics covered during the 1 day course:
- Multiple punch combinations progressions
- Use of additional fitness boxing training equipment and aids
- Additional offensive/defensive techniques
- Progression of fitness boxing
- Circuit training and working multiple clients together
- Safety
- Maximising workouts
- Special Client Considerations
- Designing focus specific sessions
Advanced:
Advance the knowledge you have learned from the beginner and intermediate courses to fine tune your boxing knowledge and skills. Deliver to your clients advanced boxing skills that add variety and difficulty into your training sessions. Take advantage of the highly qualified Fitnance instructors to teach you progressions to advance your skills in boxing and specific conditioning!
